Life is Messy
To put it simply, Life is messy…
But the most beautiful things in life come from that mess & one of the best feelings in the world is the moment you decide to clean up that mess.
You start first with making an even bigger mess than you had originally, to then rummage through that mess, to then re-organizing that mess so much so that you would never even know there was a mess there to begin with.
I don’t know about you, but every section of my house has its own purpose, and everything within that room belongs to that purpose… or at least that’s the intent.
So when I start cleaning, I go room by room (aka, section by section) and I make a giant pile in the middle of each room with everything in it. Then I dissect everything in that pile and put them into their own sections within that section.
One section are the things that are pure trash. (THROW AWAY)
One section are things that can be used, but not for me. (GIVE AWAY)
One section are the things I plan on still using. (THE SACRED KEEP)
But THEN, within that SACRED KEEP pile, each item goes into their own little sections based on their functions. For example, within ‘Clothing’, certain clothes are deemed for work, some for sports, some for hobbies, some for running errands, some for writing…
